There are a lot of resources in the web as well as commercially(books, audio-books and etc) for those who are new to zone diet planning or could not understand the program. Some of these resources might be not reliable but most of it shows a detailed procedure on how you will benefit from zone diet and how the whole process is done.

Basically a zone diet plan is about getting the best out of the food we normally would eat, the nutrients and how it affects our body. Upon following the zone diet plan developed by Dr. Barry Sears, the bodily hormones are kept in check and balanced to a normal state, specially the valuable ones like insulin.
